Today we read up to page 38 in The Divine Wind. We also began watching the following talk show about racism and identified the various points of vie This is a map of the main characters in the divine wind. It shows their relationships and we will continue to fill out this chart as we read the book and get to know the characters better. Below is an outline of what we did in class on Monday. We used Google to research the background and setting of the novel the divine wind. In a very short time students were able to find historical images and videos of Broome in the 1930s and even see how they did pearling.
